Description:

Our "Garden city", Viña del Mar, will charm us with its architecture, its streets, palaces, and the Quinta Vergara. We'll drive the coastal border and will visit the port of Valparaiso which goes back to 1536. The city was declared World Heritage by Unesco and currently is the legislative headquarters. Valparaíso is a magical place of unique and unforgettable landscapes with colorful neighborhoods and picturesque funicular elevators. The tour ends at Sotomayor square and the port, where you can sail the Valparaiso bay as an optional activity.

Through our journey we will invite you to know the actual Santiago, a cosmopolitan city that blends the oldness with modernity. We will show you the origins of our city and landmarks such as Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Post Office and the Municipality of Santiago. The tour will continue by the Government Palace and we will have the chance to walk through some of the most traditional streets and neighborhoods. Later we will go towards the east, where we’ll see modern buildings and how they have transformed the city. We drive to the seaside town of Isla Negra, on the Pacific coast, where we will find one of the most beautiful houses of Pablo Neruda, who is considered one of the most influential poets of the twentieth century. Now a days this house is a museum through which we enter the fascinating life of the poet. Later we head to the seaside town of Algarrobo, route that will show us the coastline and where we can have lunch. The tour ends with a visit to Casablanca valley which houses the best conditions for producing wines such as Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. We will enjoy a tasting of wines and sparkling wines from the area.
